I came in to purchase a Ryobi 18V battery and charger, and it was a nice bonus to find out there was a promotion that included a free tool. I was greeted and assisted by two helpful associates in Hardware, and they provided great customer service. Maybe I should have minded my own business while checking out at self-checkout, but I couldn’t help overhearing another customer ask an associate whether they could purchase patio chairs separately instead of buying the entire set. The associate immediately said no with complete confidence—and was completely wrong. I spoke up and explained that Home Depot does offer mix-and-match patio furniture options online and that individual chairs can often be purchased separately. I know this because I previously worked for MET at another Home Depot location. Management, please take the time to educate all associates on current promotions, products, and ordering options. Customers rely on associates for accurate information, and a little extra knowledge can make a huge difference in providing a positive customer experience.

Had the pleasure of working with an employee here by the name of Alex Meyer who worked in Lumber. This guy was hands down one of the most friendly and knowledgeable people I’ve ever met in general. I’ve been to this location plenty of times and while everyone has been more or less friendly and helpful, Alex went above and beyond when I needed someone to help me plan out a garden fencing project I was working on and is the reason I’m leaving a review at all. Give this guy a raise!

Why is it everytime we go into Home Depot Naperville, we feel like we as the Customer are treated like we are bothering the employees. Specifically in the flooring department. We ask for help with understanding what the best product would be for our project and situation and are so greatly greeted with a rude attitude. At first thought it was that employee at that time. We came back another day in hopes of a different employee being there and it was but same attitude. The excitement of picking out the carpet that we want for our project was taken from our experience because of these employees and because of that we won't be buying our carpet from Home Depot.

I like this location because it’s usually really clean and they give some good discounts from time to time. Every once in a while I’ll see someone with their dog in there and it makes my day, that’s just me. The power tools are fairly priced as well and my lawn mower I got last year from here still works great!

I visit this location for every little thing I may need in and around the house! Immense collection of kitchen accessories, appliances, household stuff, outdoor accessories furniture, building materials, and so on. Basically, any little/bug item you may think of will be available here. Sometime back, I purchased Vinyl floor planks from here. We were not very sure which ones to get, so we approached one of the associates who assisted us with our query. But my most recent visit here was exclusively for plant shopping. Spring is here and we need more plants both indoors/outdoors. I like their plant collection, most of the plants I've purchased turned out to be good. But I’d still say to use your judgment before buying. The self-checkout section is a real-time saver, no need to wait in lines. I simply use the self-checkout whenever possible. Plenty of parking most of the time, no matter what time of the day I visit this location.
